Method 2026-10-06.export-safety.1.
A flagged value is a potential spreadsheet interpretation risk, not proof of a malicious payload. Negative numbers can be flagged. No universal CSV escaping method is guaranteed across spreadsheet applications or repeated save and reopen operations. Macros, links and destination application behavior require separate review.
Reports summarize the first 100 result rows. Previews make whitespace and Unicode visible and are abridged after 400 characters. JSON preserves the complete parsed source. Source previews in Excel preserve positions, not exact source text.
XLSX formulas are represented as inert expression text for review, never executed. Numeric date cells remain numeric text; spreadsheet date formatting is not interpreted.
The source JSON is not an exact file-byte backup. Use Download original source in the tool and restore it through Select file. CSV findings and Excel cells are written as review text. Destination applications and repeated save/reopen behavior require separate testing. No sanitized production dataset or renamed source file is supplied.
