Method 2026-10-06.field-privacy.1.
Pseudonymized data can remain personal information. Protect the source and mapping separately. Retained fields, linkability and authorization require review.
All source fields require exactly one explicit action. Rows retain source order. Matching is exact, including case, Unicode, whitespace and leading zeros. Pseudonymize requires a complete one-to-one mapping within each selected field. No tokens are generated automatically. Remove omits the entire column.
The finalized pack omits original source files, mapping originals and unused replacement values. Retained and replacement values may still be sensitive. This is not a browser backup or an anonymization guarantee. Protect browser backups and mappings separately.
JSON preserves every transformed value. Excel writes every cell as text and includes a separate instructions sheet. The field actions CSV uses JSON-escaped field names for review. Parsed-input hashes identify the supplied datasets, not original file bytes. PDF and Word show at most 100 transformed cells, abridged after 400 characters.
