Refund policy.

Supplier and payment

Business Compliance Tools (businesscompliancetools.com) supplies the website reviews. Online checkout is not open. You pay for a review by the invoice or payment details we email after the scope is confirmed, and approved review refunds go back to the payment method you used. Paddle was the merchant of record for tool purchases made before October 19, 2026 and processes approved refunds for them.

Website reviews

Sending a review request does not take payment or book work. We confirm your website, scope, timing and price in writing before you pay. If we cannot agree on the scope, you do not pay.

• Before work starts. You get a full refund if you cancel or if we cannot deliver the review.
• After work starts. We refund the price of any review area we have not started. Work already done on a started area is not refunded.
• If the report falls short. If the report is materially different from the agreed scope and description, tell us within 30 days of delivery. We fix it first. If we cannot, you can ask for a refund of the affected part.
• Retest. The Complete review retest must be requested within 60 days of report delivery. An unused retest is not refunded separately.

A review records what we observed within the agreed sample. A later complaint, lawsuit or regulator inquiry about your website does not by itself make the review faulty, and it is not grounds for a refund.

To ask about a refund, email hello@businesscompliancetools.com with your invoice number and the review name. We reply within 2 business days. Bank and card-network processing times are outside our control.

Tool purchases made before October 19, 2026

Every tool has been free since October 19, 2026. If you bought a tool output, preorder, run or monthly service through Paddle before then, the rules below apply to that purchase.

• Unavailable output. If a purchased output is unavailable, including one bought while it was still being built, you can request a full refund while it remains unavailable.
• Delivery time. A tool marked "Delivered within 48 hours" was due within 48 hours of verified payment. If it was not delivered in that time, you can request a full refund.
• Preorders. You can request a full refund for any reason before preorder delivery.
• Failed runs and service periods. If a paid run did not deliver its described result, or a paid monthly period was unavailable, we investigate recovery or an appropriate refund.
• Other problems. We investigate if you were charged more than once for the same order, if the download could not be provided after reasonable troubleshooting, or if the content is faulty or materially different from its description and we cannot repair or replace it within a reasonable time.
• Change of mind. Once a download began after your request for immediate digital delivery, we do not normally refund a change of mind. This does not affect rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or non-conforming digital content.
• Monthly subscriptions. If a monthly subscription is still renewing, cancel it through the Paddle link in your receipt or email us and we will cancel it.

An approved refund or payment reversal stops any new server authorization attached to the purchase. It cannot remotely remove a ZIP that has already been delivered to your browser or saved elsewhere on your device.

To ask for help, email hello@businesscompliancetools.com with the Paddle receipt email, purchase date, tool name and a short description of the problem. Do not attach case details or generated evidence files unless we ask for them. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go to the original payment method through Paddle.

Your statutory rights

This policy applies whether you buy personally or for an organization. Applicable United States consumer law may give you cancellation or refund rights, and this policy does not remove any right that the law does not allow us to exclude.
